20141022_174950

Elizabeth Hable is a Junior and one of our newest team members here at the Culpeper Language Learning Center.  She is a Junior Psychology major with a special interest in eating disorders, anxiety and depression.  Some things she is involved in on campus include the Tri-Sigma Sorority, being a Be U wellbeing coach, and also participating in the Gustavus Choir.  Elizabeth chose to work at Culpeper because she thought it would be a good opportunity to diversify her work schedule.  Along with being a Language Technology Specialist here at Culpeper she also works right up the stairs at the MLC resource office.

For language experience Elizabeth took three years of Spanish in high school but decided her real passion was for German and decided to study the language in college.  Her interest in the German language stems from her family’s German heritage on her father’s side of the family.  Her mother’s side of the family is British and they celebrate their heritage by having traditional british Christmases.  They do this by having Christmas crackers decorating the dinner table and tree, along with wearing the signature tissue crowns.  When asked which country in the world she would go to if she could, she answered New Zealand.  She explained that she would like to go to New Zealand because the beautiful and strange landscape of the country would help her experience a different kind of spirituality with nature.

Elizabeth Hable works in the center from 2:30 to 3:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  To meet Elizabeth and the other Culpeper workers stop by the center located at Vickner 108.  Hope to see you soon!
